The Bozeman Icedogs 2018-2019 season came to an end on Sunday after a 6-2 loss to the Great Falls Americans in the North American 3 Hockey League’s (NA3HL) Frontier Division Semi-finals. The night before, the Icedogs shocked the Americans with a 5-3 win at home in Bozeman.

Despite the loss, the Icedogs have a lot to be proud of. In just one year, Elliot Bates took the Icedogs from a five-win team the year before to a third place, 28-15 team this season.

Hazen McKay finished the year as the Icedogs top goal scorer with 49 goals and 37 assists, giving him 86 points on the year. Croatian National Dominic Canic dished up a record 64 assists on the year.

Great Falls will play Helena in the Frontier Division Finals this weekend, with the winner going to the national NA3HL finals in  Chicago.
