Butte Runs into Red Hot Bozeman Karl Zodda had a 51 save game in net for the Butte Cobras, but ultimately the Cobras fell 8-1 on the road to the Bozeman Icedogs in North American 3 Hockey League action. Tyson Stovin had Butte’s only goal on a pass from Braydon Smith in the second period.
“We played a lot more physical and as a team, we played our systems well,” said Assistant Coach, Josh Smith. “Our Penalty Kill was playing very well and we will continue to work on everything this week in practice and get ready for this upcoming weekend vs Gillette.”
The Butte Cobras will travel to Gillette, Wyoming for a two-game series against the Wild next weekend. The Cobras’ next home game will be Saturday, February 2nd, against the Great Falls Americans.
