Montana State University Hockey (MSU) has announced that Defenseman, Zach Douglass has committed to play for MSU Hockey this upcoming season. Douglass comes to MSU after several standout seasons with the Everett Junior Silvertips 18U team.  The Bellevue, Washington native is a solid two way player with good speed and playmaking ability that will push the pace of the game and open up the ice. “ I am excited to be on the ice with a great group of guys that are working to win a championship,” said Douglass.

Douglass plans on pursuing a degree in engineering at MSU and is looking forward to attending this coming Fall.  “I chose MSU because they have a great engineering program, I love the outdoors and the snow, and they have a rapidly growing hockey program.”

It has been a busy summer for MSU hockey as several top recruits have been added to the team. The new recruiting class will help MSU, who will again strive to be one of the top teams in the Mountain West Division, a division that is among the most competitive in the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
